Ladies and Gentleman,
i have the honour to present you one of the most aclaimed musicians of our time - Mr. Roger Waters!
I had the pleasure to meet him personally and work with him in the last month of april, when i was performing in his opera called - "Ça Ira" or "There is hope", presented in the Amazonas Opera Festival, in Manaus, Brazil.
His is an incredible man by what he represents to music and to the society. He is a man that spreads out to the world the ideas of freedom, equality and fraternity into his music, either in a rock show or inside of the melodies of his opera.
He unites music lovers everywhere he goes!
"Ça Ira" talks about the French Revolution and what people in that time needed and hoped for.
I know that words like freedom, fraternity and equality sound like they are out of context if they are not in a book or in a fairy tale movie, but why? Why can't we still dream with it? When did we give up? Why things have to be so easy for few and so difficult for all the rest?
We musicians can not change the world, but we can change people by making them feel, by touching their hearts.

I want to thank you Roger, for making me a better person, for making me believe again!

Music and the art expression is the communication of the soul and heart to be lifted up. When artists can incorporate this with their own self-enlightened interest a true artist has been born. Thank you Carmen for your inspiring thoughts in presenting Roger Waters, he sounds like a wonderful person to know and work with.
